It all started when a dear friend and I decided to apply for a study abroad program in London together. Estimated costs will reach $7,000 dollars, if I’m frugal. I (the obvious brains of our nefarious duo, cough) suggested selling kidneys and other body organs to fund our trip. She had another idea. “Why not sell a novella or two as e-books?” Response: “The only thing I have even close to finishing is my nightmare story, and even then, it might take until December to get it done.”
Then, the truly brilliant thought: “Break it into parts and publish it as a series.”
So, for the first time ever, I’m putting my work out there, shaking it around and dressing it in sequins. It’s surprisingly really hard. I don’t know why. Probably some inner issues squirming around under the fear, but whatever. What’s done is done is done.
The decision to make it into a series does end up making me more money (I know, I know), but I’m honestly not finished with the second half yet. (:
If you like paranormal young adult fiction, each part is novella sized and only 99 cents. If you don’t think you’d like it but are willing to give it a chance, the first book is free on Smashwords, Fictionpress or Figment. (Or, if you really love me, you can buy it on Amazon.)
And, of course, if you do end up not hating it, please share with your friends. Part Three: Night Terror is due out Nov. 10th.
